All Along the Rooftops.

Not long ago I joined a new group on facebook (Leeds Photography Group) after been told by a friend about it. They meet up a few times a month to go out taking photos and on Weds (5 July) I joined them for the Car Park Rooftops meet up.

Here are a couple of photos I have worked on so far.

New instagram

To go alongside the website refresh, I have created a seperate instagram account just for my Landscape photography. I will still post on my normal account too but i am keen to boost a social media presence so I have decided to create a landscapes page in the hope i can boost my sales and exposure of my work.

The Trick with instagram is to find the right hashtags for your photos, but you are limited to no more than 30 on any one photo in the description bar.

I found this article online that I found useful. https://fstoppers.com/originals/three-easy-ways-drive-new-followers-your-instagram-free-instagram-tips-part-1-159155

Dont forget to check out my instagram and leave comments etc.

Whitby

Back on the August Bank Holiday I went to Whitby, North Yorkshire with 2 friends for the day. It was a great day out and quite warm too, I took my camera with me to get some photos as the town is so photogenic and as I enjoyed my previous shorter evening visit there with the camera last year, I knew that I would get some good images.

Weekly Photo Challenge: Morning

This weeks photo challenge theme is morning.

The early morning wake ups and this particular one was a very early wake up, 4AM in fact. Wastwater in the Lake District, Cumbria, UK is known for its stunning views and popularity for photographers.

Weekly Photo Challenge: Seasons(Spring)

I have decided i wanted to do another post on this weeks theme seasons.

Reason i have chosen to do a second post rather than include more than one photo in my first one is this photo is focused on the next season of the year up: Spring.

Clarence Dock Golden Hour

This photo I took at sunset at Leeds Dock, a area just on the outside of Leeds City Centre, a great spot for photography.

Below are some of the posts i have enjoyed from this week’s challenge.
